Are you having “a good hair day”?

Most of us accept that looks matter. We know that our appearance impacts our personal, social and professional lives. We also know that how we feel influences how we look. Although we’d like to believe “what is inside counts most”, An appealing appearance, good health and hygiene positively impacts our lives.

Knowing how to create the magical hairdos is a plus point but what you also need is healthy hair. Here are our tips for healthy hair that will give you long and lustrous hair:

Effective Tips For Healthy Hair

Tip 1: Protect Your Hair

Always protect your hair from sun, wind and rain. Exposure to excessive sun, heat, dirt, pollution, etc. adds to our already existent hair woes. These can lead to dirt build up, drying out of hair and scalp, increased susceptibility to infections on the scalp. Cover your hair with an umbrella or your dupatta will do.

Tip 2:Deal Carefully With Wet Hair

Wet hair is very fragile and breaks easily. When wet, the shaft and roots of your hair are more prone to sustaining damage. Don’t be too harsh when shampooing. Breakage begins there. And also avoid brushing immediately after a shower.

Tip 3: Condition The Right Way

Conditioning needs to be done right. Conditioners are formulated to seal in the moisture content in the hair shaft. They are not meant for the scalp. Start conditioning about 2 inches away from your scalp. Too much conditioner on the scalp will only make your scalp excessively oily.

Tip 4: Use Same Line Shampoo & Conditioner

Choose a shampoo and a conditioner from the same line as it has a similar formulation. These are made for a specific hair type and a specific purpose. It shows better results when you use a single line instead of two individual products.

Tip 5: Don’t Over Apply Heat On Hair

Avoid using heat on your hair. Heat further strips the moisture content from your hair making it dry and frizzy. When overused, it can also burn your hair. Use iron/curl, straighteners only if necessary and remember to use a hair protectant before!

Tip 6: Choose Satin Pillow Covers

Sleeping on satin pillow covers is known to reduce hair breakage due to friction. Cotton and other materials are quite rough in texture. Due to which they also cause more friction against your hair.

Tip 7: Suitable Hair Masks

Use hair masks that are suited for your hair. Hair needs vary as per your hair type and troubles. It is necessary that you use the right masks, or it can further aggravate your problem.

Tip 8: Brush Effectively

Brushing, this is a sure shot way to increase the luster of your hair. It spreads the natural oils through the length of your hair. But don’t over do this. And do not use plastic brushes as they cause increased breakage.

Tip 9: Healthy Eating

Health on the inside reflects on your hair too. The healthier you are, the better your hair looks. If you want to have really good and healthy hair, eating right is a must. Certain nutrients like vitamins, iron and proteins are essential for your hair growth and health. If you are unable to obtain enough from your diet, then you need to consider supplements. A good diet for hair will also boost your confidence to stay healthy and smart.

Home Remedies For Healthy Hair:

1. Oil Massage

Oil massaging your hair is the oldest remedy for the extra shiny and soft stresses. You can either use olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil.I usually prefer mixture of these three oils. Slightly warm the oil and massage your scalp thoroughly. Leave it for one hour before washing. This is also the best home remedy for healthy hair.

2. Bananas

Bananas are simply great for healthy hair. Being rich in potassium, they help in improving the elasticity and natural health of your hair. Mash a banana in a bowl and apply this on your hair, starting from the root to the tip of your hair. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with a good shampoo.

3. Eggs

Eggs are one of the best home remedies to get soft and silky hair. You can either massage your head with the yellow part of an egg directly or make a mixture of 1 tablespoon olive oil, 3 egg yolks and 2-3 drops of vitamin E oil. Leave it for 10-12 minutes and then wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo. This procedure can be repeated weekly to condition your hair naturally.

4. Honey

Honey is an excellent home remedy to repair damaged hair and prevent hair fall. Simply add 2-3 drops of honey to your shampoo or conditioner. Then, use this to wash your hair.

5. Fenugreek seeds

Take 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and soak it overnight. Next morning, grind this to make a smooth paste and apply all over your scalp. Let it stand for half an hour and wash properly afterward. This treatment helps you to get rid of hair loss and dandruff naturally.

6. Beer

Beer is often used to impart shine to the hair. Wash your hair with little beer to show off beautiful, shiny stresses. You can also store beer in a spray bottle. Spray this lightly on shampooed, towel-dried hair to get instant shine.

Hair Care For Oily Hair

Cornstarch makes a great dry shampoo for oily hair. So just sprinkle it onto your scalp, let it sit for 10 minutes and brush it out.

Sometimes this is all you need!

Earth, rivers, mountains and trees! Silent canyons, babbling creeks and growing green gardens! If you spend time in nature, you’ve probably noticed that you feel happier out there than in here.

When you’re in nature, you don’t have to look in mirrors. Instead, you’re either focused on the setting around you, or on what you are doing, like climbing, setting up a tent, or gardening. Studies show that people’s body image improves when we spend time in nature, and I think this is part of the reason why.

Our culture teaches us that we never have enough. We strive to make more money, buy more things, eat more delicious food. Mainstream culture also encourages us not to think about how this over-consumption affects others, such as the laborers who make our clothes, or the people and animals who depend on a climate in balance.

You feel comfortable in your own skin, you experience your own quiet peace and strength, you sense the inner you that is the true you. The mask you present to the outer world is irrelevant for a time, and put in its proper place.

Some beautiful paths can’t be discovered without getting lost.

If the road is beautiful, walk the road slowly be a turtle, be a snail and even better than this: Stop walking; live the road fully!

It hurts..

Love is very strange. Love is unconditional commitment to an imperfect individual. You need it but when you love, it’s like destining yourself for pain. You become addicted and dependent on the person. You become strong and at the same time, you open yourself up to being hurt. Love can make you bear any kind of pain and any kind of sacrifice. It can also make you feel stupid and act stupidly. Sometimes when you love and end up giving so much of yourself, subconsciously you only discover how much you’ve given when the person you love hurts you or has to say goodbye.

Then you realize, an important part of yourself is already with that person. It goes away when he leaves and you are left with a sickening, empty feeling inside.

Tears are bound to shed from ur eyes no matter how you force yourself to keep them in. Most teardrops ever shed on this earth have been for love or lack of it. When tears dry, a silent loss sticks to your heart for a long, long time.

Well, that’s what u get for caring so much about someone. But how can you regret it? To give yourself freely and lovingly is the most beautiful thing you can do. Loving makes you real. Loving also makes you cry. And that is why a teardrop is also BEAUTIFUL….

Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow.

The more often we see the things around us even the beautiful and wonderful things. The more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds.Even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less.

Like wildflowers, you must allow yourself to grow in all the places people thought you never would.

Shubh Deepawali

It’s all about love and longing. It’s all about a small gesture. It’s all about spreading love. It sure does not take much.

Lighting candles or diyas help us move from darkness to light. They invoke goddesses or angels to bless us with divine wisdom which helps us move towards unconditional love.

This Diwali let’s bring the light of unconditional love in our hearts and drive out all materialistic thoughts from our lives. While cleaning our homes, let’s purify our souls. As we throw unwanted stuff outside and unclutter our home, let’s throw our ego, jealousy, anger and all the lower energies out of our life as well.

Diwali is the time of festivity, the time to create joy, a time to welcome Maa Lakshmi and our guests. What can be much better than making Rangoli in Diwali to welcome the divine.Making Rangoli requires only a heart full of love.Diwali is bleak without Rangoli. Rangoli is an expression of our heart.

Celebration of diwali without rangoli cannot be imagine. Every Diwali I love making Rangoli in my entrance🤗

The different colours of Rangoli enchants me. Red , blue, purple, white , yellow are different hues that brighten up the Rangoli. They are like the colours of our emotions , the colours of our life. Each colour is important. I sometimes feel that Rangoli has a secret message to give.It tells us that a single colour in life , a single emotion be it joy only will make life dull.Variety is the beauty of life.Life is full of mixed emotions like the colours of Rangoli. All my heart , pours out with love and respect for Maa Lakshmi as I decorate the floor.Making Rangoli does not require any learning or any art. It is the pure expression of our divinity within, the purity, within, the fragrance within, the love within, the faith within, the devotion or bhakti within.

Diwali is the perfect time to pay obscience to Maa Lakshmi in the form of Rangoli and offer her all our emotions, our joy, our happiness , our sorrow, our worries into her feet and enjoy and feel the bliss of making Rangoli in Diwali.

A VERY HAPPY DIWALI TO ALL OF YOU.

I’m not anti-social. I’m Pro-solitude.

•People who seek solitude are more creative•

In recent years, psychologists have become particularly interested in people who seek solitude simply because they prefer it.These individuals don’t necessarily avoid interacting with others, but they don’t seek out a lot of interpersonal contact either.

They are not antisocial,They don’t initiate interaction, but also don’t appear to turn down social invitations from peers. Therefore, they may get just enough peer interaction so that when they are alone, they are able to enjoy that solitude.

A day spent in solitude with nature can do more for the body and soul than any drug man can concoct.

I had already found that it was not good to be alone, and so made companionship with what there was around me, sometimes with the universe and sometimes with my own insignificant self; but my books were always my friends, let fail all else.😁 and My imagination functions much better when I don’t have to speak to people.
